Reality TV.

 

A lot of people watch tv (television) for a lot of reasons mostly informative, educational, entertainment.

Talking about entertainment, what  can I  say about the word entertainment which is whatever makes us relax and clam when we are at our place of rest. Which would mean that what we watch for fun should at least be a mix of entertainment, information and education. Then comes a series of tv shows that would aim to make us feel good and happy about ourselves and our environment.

Along comes a new trend of reality shows that, if I may say so, begs that question or definition of entertainment .I would love to say that all things that are seen on tv is actually useful but that would be a lie that is being sold on almost all the television network in the world.

There are a number of reality shows on a lot of networks e.g Keeping up with the Kardashian , Married to the Jonas, the Bratoxin, big brother, Ice love coco etc but we would love to know why all this shows have one thing in common. What is that? those shows lack direction ,teachings  and definition. Which is the base for any show?

For the purpose of direction, I would like to take some of the prementioned tv series to elaborate the need to really take a good look at what is it that this reality tv shows are trying to teach. Call me old fashioned but the kardashian show really does not add value to television or the aim of television.

I hope that parents do not allow their children to watch reality tv show that would certain install unwanted traits in the character of the child, call me crazy but things we see we store in our minds more that things that we hear.  So psychologically specking this means that we have to protect our young kids from watching such tv shows that would and cannot contribute anything to the life of the kids.

Some shows are quit educational and would be very good to watch and learn from. I think the use of reality shows is to make financial gains for the production companies and the individuals that are involved in the show.

I would be happy to say that if you think the individuals in reality shows are more intelligent than you the view?
