J.Cole Bone Sinner

The second studio release ablum for J.Cole under the Roc Nation and Coloumbia Records.

This is an independent review of the album and production.

 Villiate:lyrical dexterity is at it best when it comes to J Cole who is a protégé of Jay-z in the Rap game. He shows off his ability to romance the beat and still be within his lyrical strength and story line, pretty nice song if you like the real hip-hop song.

 J and the snake:J cole has a way of telling a story within a song that is really funny and true at the same time. He puts a lot of real life story into his songs and that is what I appreciate about him. His emotions at the moment and the trial and things I know he does not want to share are all come out when he is telling the story and the same time being real to the hip-hop world.

I particularly like the song with Miguel as it gave us his at picture of how it would feel to be in love with some one that is in love with someone else and you are really not happy about everything. The air spins the song has received has gone a long way to show how much people accept and like the song. J coles made us appreciate the fact the we are all human and can sometimes make some funny mistakes.

Mo money interlude: What can you say about money that we all want to have some of? J made it seem so simple but at the same time heartfelt, I love to make this song part of my collection and his philosophy he speck out.

I try to look at what Jay –z see’s in this guy and i think it must be his ability to transfer the message within the song and still make you feel the delivery along with the song. Jay –z must think of J.Cole as the Next Biggy because the brother has almost the same ability to carry a story that is really nice.

I would like to compare to Bone sinner to Cold summer?

She knows: This must have been a sequel to daddy’s girl that had so many things about our day to day pretty young girls of today, I like his delivery and pace on the song.

A pretty good album that had some of the best producers on it.

Mostly of the song has to talk about the everyday facts that young guys face every day and still try to be with the women we love and sleep with you, with Kendrick on the track what you think would be like? Forbidden fruit.

Must be what different races think about wealth and investment .Can it be a Jesus pierce of some Investment.

J.Cole must have tried to make the song go with the TLC belief that women and man should be real to themselves and family for real.

Word be told let Nas down is my personal favourite on the album because Cole retold the story with a touch of his life in it, beautiful the  way he did it . Love that song from the first time I heard it.(Long live your idols they would never be your rivals, Pap like Jesus and Nas wrote the bible) for real .

One of the best J.Cole songs I have heard thus far.

Bone sinner felt like Jesus walks, but a damn good song.

Miss America had a lot of politics in it and the reason why we should pay attention to what is going on around us all.

South American Rivals face off in the semi finals of the Confederations cup.

This could better be renamed the Neymar vs. Louis Suarez. These two players have been very influential.

To their national terms and club sides. With Neymar making the best of the confederations cup to show his potentials to the world before he goes over to Camp Nou to begin what I think is going to be very beautiful and lucrative career .

Unlike Neymar, Louis Suarez has not had a nice tournament thus far apart from a super free kick he took against the La Roja. He has been relatively calm compare to his former self when he is playing for his club side just a few months ago before Louis’s ugly incident with Ivanovic of Chelsea fc.

With the quality of players in both sides the game is going to be one of those games you wish you can see all the time but then we do not get what we always wish for. Do we?  As for record, the selecao has won the last two meetings with a 4-0 thumping in June 2009.

Think of this Luiz Felipe Scolari first ever match in charge of the selecao in July 2001 ended with a defeat to the Uruguay. This must be his avenue to pay back the Uruguayans for the favour.

 In playing against a team with super talents like Edison Calvani, Diego Forlan and Louis Suarez is going to be very challenging for a side that have very quick and attack minded defenders like David Louis ,mecelo,Danny Alvs of  the Selecao. Who would rather attack than defend for all I can tell you they are going to face a test of character and understanding.

Not only does the Celeste have to contend with the abilities of Neymar, they also have to watch out for the side backs that seem to only attack rather than defend. Coach Oscar Tabarez is going to ask a lot of his defence and mid field to make sure that all the selecao  attack plans can be covered.

The match is going to be very interesting technically and physically. It would be the kind of football match that technicians and students of the great game would do anything to see.

There would be goals but very technical and intelligent game plays.  

Champions of Europe Vs. African Champions

Like every football follower, Spain at the ongoing confederations cup is one, if not, of the best teams in the tournament. But playing the super eagles is going to be a real test of character for the Spain national  team. A team that only conceded a single goal against Uruguay and have scored in every match that they have played, as well as won. 

The super eagles have only won the match against Tahiti and have quit a number of players playing for clubs outside their country. Which is ranked 33th in the Fifa world ranking, just after coming out victorious in the Orange/Caf Nations cup.

The team has not lost a single match until the match against Uruguay’s national team. The result from that match would no doubt help to put a sense of urgency in the super eagles team as they face La Roja.

The game started with the European champions within, the first minute of play , already in the box of the super eagles asking all the questions of the defence and the goal keeper. Only scoring the opening goal would come at exactly three minutes of play from the side back Jordi  Alba

Making the super eagles pay for the lack of focus in the opening minutes of the game. Immediately the African champions got on with the game and put up some really good attacking movement but were just not sharp enough at the top for a goal that would have change the colour of the match.

The possession of the ball was amazing 56 percent to 44percent for La Roja and the super eagles respectively. Even with such a possession for the Africans there were relatively limited at the top where they really need to the presence of a Sharp attacker, someone in the like of Victor Moses of Chelsea FC.

On the field of play there was enormous gulf technically between both teams as the European champions showed more technical and tactical ability than the super eagles. Their pass were more accurate , they had better presence in the middle of the pack. Where the Nigerians tried to make as many tackles as possible to make the game difficult for the La Roja .

The arrival of Torres was greeted with a brilliant pass from the wings which he dispatched with super speed that the Nigerians goal keeper could not do anything about the goal. The super eagles tried everything they could up front but still could not get the goal as Ideyen was wasteful and Ahmed Musa was his usual  predictable, lack of technical delivery made life difficult for the Nigerian attack.

The Third goal was scored by Jordi Alba who is In my option the man of the match. I would say the flop of the match for the second game running is Ahmed Musa. Who has repeatedly failed to play his part in the team and made the Nigerian attack look blunt and silly.

Well in all it was a good game and the manager of the super eagles i.e. Stephen keshi has to make sure he gets his attack to work and the winger should know why they on the team. In the same vein, we look forward to the next match for the La Roja.

What to expect from Selecao against Azzurri

The most exciting match of the confederations cup thus far. With the Azzurri scoring in each of their previous matches and has not failed to make their opponents pay for any slip up at the back.

Having played so well in their first two matches and give the people of brazil a reason to buy tickets for all of their games .The selecao have been a pretty good team and have been able to score in each of their matches they have played with their talisman Neymar flourishing fine form that has captivated the world and the management of Barcelona football club.

Well there would be no need to mention names as we are all very familiar with the Brazilian national team and the Italian national team as well. As both teams have won all their matches played, only the selecao has the luxury of not conceding goals any goal.

Unlike the Brazilians, Azzurri has conceded quit a number of goals which came as a shock if you took into consideration the nature of the Italian game play. It is without doubt one of the most uncharacteristic display of defensively   specking. I could have bet all my money before the match that Japan would not score a single goal against the Azzurri.

With the Azzurri coming against a team like the selecao there would have to be really sharp as the wonder kid has been in top form in this tournament scoring a total of two supper goals that are very hard to forget because of the enormous technique it took to make the goal look so easy.

The Azzurri would have to make sure that their midfield maestro,  Andres Pirlo ,have a great day since the selecao defence is not so  much. One good pass and there would be lots of goal in favour of the Azzurri .Who has all it takes to dent the record of the selecao if only they find it them to play to the level which they played in the Euro 2012.

A lot would be expected of both Mario Balotelli and Neymar as they have been really instrumental to the progress of the national team and club. With Neymar fifty-six million Euro move to Barcelona FC, we are all out to see a lot more of these guys in Europe next season.

If the Selecao can keep up with their work rate up front and defensively, they ought to come out of this match with flying colours.

There is one thing i know would be very common in today’s match is goals, as both teams would love to avoid playing Spain in the next match.

So betting for both sides to score is really a way to get some money out of the match.

Why Nigeria Vs. Uruguay was really interesting.

 

This was the game that would have made the super Eagles a team to fear and respect. But with the performance that the players put up was just as sad as I have come to expect of the team that Stephen Keshi has assembled.

The manager of the Nigeria national team must have had a good plan before the Match started because his selection of players showed some potentials that could have changed the way match against Uruguay national team.

The technical ability of the Uruguay made it very difficult for the Nigerians to make the best of their oppunities that was always coming their way. Not only did the Celeste have in their ranks players like Luis Suarez,Edinson Cavani,Diego Forlan etc. Players with very high technical and physical capability that the Nigeria supper eagles lacked enormously.

The defense of the supper eagles held quit a number of well planed and practiced attack from the Celeste which only  showed the physical and quick of the defense that only lacked the technical ability to change those waves of attacks in counter attacks Only to emphasize the amount of work needed by the manager Stephen Keshi .

 The match must have come as a complete shock to the Celeste who attacked a lot in the opening minutes of the match and got rewarded by a goal that came off the must unlikely player on the day as the ball came off the shine of Cavani and want on to the foot of Diego Lugano.

Then the game seemed to change just as the Celeste got their opener. The supper eagles got to the controls and got game then went on to put more pressure on their opponent and all the possession all favored the Nigerians and then the goal that brings the game back to level table.

The second half of the game started with the super eagles and the Celeste going at it with their all. The technical changes made by Stephen Keshi did not really help because most of the attack was not really planed or practiced. The passes of the supper eagles were not accurate enough and the wings which ought to be their greatest strength was not as effective as everyone had expected it to be because Ahmed Muse just could not deliver the passes in the box.

Muse to me was the most out of placed player on the pitch because he just did not know what he was there on the wings to do. He had a lot of possession and opening to score only for him to just throw all to the wind without any technical ability.  Well I hope he learns to be what we want him to be.

Again Diego Forlan rolled back his age and made every body believe that age is just a number if you are fit and happy. He marked his 100 cap with a supper goal that almost put a hole in the net.

In all the super eagles just need to work and get more  international games under their belt and please someone tell Keshi to get a winger that really know what he is doing .

Italy Vs Mexico.

 

You can call me old fashioned but  the confederations cup is just starting to pick up pace as some major players in the world of football have started to show what they are made of .

To nights match made it glaringly clear that football certainly lives in Europe. Italy playing against Mexico. Who has found pretty challenging to win games apart from their recent win against Jamaica in the world cup qualification. Which is quite difficult as their opponents in the world cup qualifies are familiar and can best be regarded as neighbours.

The second match of the confederation cup which marks an historic match between two countries that have been playing each other without a win for any of them for the past Thirty years. The match had a pretty nice combination of stars from Europe and America.

The runner up  at  Europe 2012 had their attack led by Super Mario Balotelli, wings were manned by both Claudio machsio, Emanuele Giaccherini,while de rossi  and Andres Perilo kept the mid field relatively controlled by the Italians. Just so that Gigi Buffon would have little work to do on the day.

Mexico really had their hearts in the game that saw them put a lot of pace to make up for the quality that they lacked in the mid field and wings. The el trio had some quality in the attack with little P and Don santos. That provide quite a lot of bit up front for the El trio.

After some really integrating twenty-seven minutes of play Andres Perilo marked his one hundred international cap with master class free kick that only showed how good he is with set pieces. Only for the Mexican goalie to  make a poor attempt at the ball.

 But only for the defence of the Azzurri to make a very unusual mistake of bundling  Don santos in the box for an undeniable penalty, that Hernandez converted to bring the game back within the reach of the El tri .  Only 12 minutes from the end of the first half of the game.

Although, the El trio could have scored quite a number of goals, they were just unlucky their chances were either blocked, caught or came off the bar of the goal post.

The game seemed certainly to end in a draw until supper Mario showed a combination of strength and brilliance to put the game in favour of the Azzurri in front at the 78^th minutes of playing time. There was some substitution that took place but only to boost the Italians.

This is a reminder of how good the Italians are on the ball and a preview of what they are capable of doing and achieving if they work together. The El Trio need to go back to the drawing board and plan their next outing.

I think the Azzurri would make it to the finals if they can take care of the likes of Spain and Brazil.

Reality TV.

 

A lot of people watch tv (television) for a lot of reasons mostly informative, educational, entertainment.

Talking about entertainment, what  can I  say about the word entertainment which is whatever makes us relax and clam when we are at our place of rest. Which would mean that what we watch for fun should at least be a mix of entertainment, information and education. Then comes a series of tv shows that would aim to make us feel good and happy about ourselves and our environment.

Along comes a new trend of reality shows that, if I may say so, begs that question or definition of entertainment .I would love to say that all things that are seen on tv is actually useful but that would be a lie that is being sold on almost all the television network in the world.

There are a number of reality shows on a lot of networks e.g Keeping up with the Kardashian , Married to the Jonas, the Bratoxin, big brother, Ice love coco etc but we would love to know why all this shows have one thing in common. What is that? those shows lack direction ,teachings  and definition. Which is the base for any show?

For the purpose of direction, I would like to take some of the prementioned tv series to elaborate the need to really take a good look at what is it that this reality tv shows are trying to teach. Call me old fashioned but the kardashian show really does not add value to television or the aim of television.

I hope that parents do not allow their children to watch reality tv show that would certain install unwanted traits in the character of the child, call me crazy but things we see we store in our minds more that things that we hear.  So psychologically specking this means that we have to protect our young kids from watching such tv shows that would and cannot contribute anything to the life of the kids.

Some shows are quit educational and would be very good to watch and learn from. I think the use of reality shows is to make financial gains for the production companies and the individuals that are involved in the show.

I would be happy to say that if you think the individuals in reality shows are more intelligent than you the view?

Confederations cup opening Brazil vs Japan:

The opening game that promised some action and exciting football talents on display from both nations. This is dual between two completely different style of playing.

The Japanese have quit a number of prominent plays like Kagawa of Manchester united, Honda ect. Like the Brazlie team that has very popular players like Neymar,Danny Alves, Paulinho ,Oscar. We can go on and on.

The match started with brazil fight attacking and getting a goal after three minutes of play with Fred collecting a looping pass from the middle and the young gifted Neymar making the best possible start that the manager Scolari can and would ever pray for.

After the goal the game settled down a little with the Brazilian attack asking all the questions from the defence of the Japanese whom really would have done better if they had tried to instil their way of playing on the field of play.

Only the Brazilians seem to have a proper handling of the game because they were always on the attack and making the Japanese defence work their heels off.

The first half saw the Japanese have quit a few chances and certainly the weaker team which are as at today the Asia champions and could have done better but are just not so good on the attack or in the mid field. I would have preferred if the Japanese had made a lot of counter attack and make the Brazilians work for the passion and just stay in the game.

Just a few minutes into the second half Paulinho made the game two goals to  and just at the end of the game Jo made it three  goal to zero and  Neymar showed more presence in the game in the second half.

The game was exciting enough in my opinion but the Brazilian team show a little flash of brilliance and hope they put a lot of work into their team play because they have the talent and the players to put a lot of  very interesting  plays to show the world .

In all I was not very sure of how the game was going to end, but with the performance of the Brazilian team. I think they did well against a team that seem to need some work in the technical department and confidence. The world cup is a year from now so there is a lot of time for teams and managers to put a lot of work into their team.

This is one time the next generation of war of the consoles will be interesting as for once both are offering totally different things. Microsoft have taken a bold move over there used games and while many feel torn over the issue it could end up changing the way the used game market works and Microsoft could find many gamers jumping ship to the PS4 so between now and release we could find them changing the policy they have set. Sony are investing heavily in cloud gaming platforms and with the benefits it could bring like cross platform saving I can't wait to see how it plays out 12 months from now.

Most are jumping on the bandwagon of pricing saying the Xbox One is too high but if you compare to the original 360 that come with a 20GB hard drive that was £270 and then Kinect on release was £130 that is all ready £400 so this time round for an extra £30 you're getting a bigger hard drive at 500GB and Kinect 2 with full 1080p recording, I think Microsoft might have overpriced a bit but what company doesn't and for the price you're paying the package is amazing. While sony may have priced the PS4 lower at £349 by the time you buy the Eye cam at £44 your only 35 behind Xbox One

As a proud owner of a play station 3 would certainly go  for the play station 4 except in a situation where by games are available on the play station 4. 

Based on pricing the play station 4 would definitely be off the shelves faster than the xbox one, but if you are a lover of Xbox then you are in for a real test. Tell me what you all think.

Brazil Vs England friendly match @ the New Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro

In recent football history, friendly matches have been considered as another avenue to try out fringe players and some up and coming talents.This was not the case as the Three Lions took on the seleção of Brazil ,leading to the match there was a lot of speculation about the match venue having  safety as well as preparation challenges.
Only for the actual friendly match to celebrate the opening of the remarkable venue and the British F.A one hundred and thirty years of football.After all the exchange of pleasantries and photo shots , the game began with the three lions playing cautiously almost defensively all through the first 45 minutes.having very few opportunities to attack the Brazilians as we have all come to expect from a country with so elegant a football league. On the other hand, the host put up a pretty interesting start to the match with a formation that looked almost like an all attack strategically specking. The only challenge I had with the seleção is the fact that all their plans seem to rest on the shoulders of young Neymar whom had a pretty quite day,although, he had some brilliant moments. There was this lack of quality in the Brazilian team that football lovers have come to associate with the county.
In the second 45 minutes  that  the game finally comes alive as the combination of individual skills and technique gave Brazil the first goal from a rebound of the woodwork for Fred.Then came England-Arsenal's Alex oxlade Chamberlain. Then Wayne Rooney put England ahead again only for Paulinho to save the day for Brazil.
In all the ratings for both teams would look like England 40% and Brazil 60%
I look forward to watching Neymar in Europe

Mexico Vs Nigeria friendly match summary

Certainly one of the better performance from the Super Eagles of Nigeria  as technically specking the Mexicans were way ahead of the Super Eagles with  Chicharito (Javier Hernández Balcázar) having a nice day with the back four of the Eagles.Of course we could have played better if only we could make our passes stick and our defenders like Elderson Echiejile more focused and more  aware of his opponents positioning, we could have had a better outing.Not to mention,the Super Eagles midfield that worked alot but did not exactly make the  kind of impact we have come to expect from them. 
On the part of the El tri,they had a fairly good game with all the little possession they had and technical capability which was obviously their strong point.
The twenty seventh minutes red card that Pablo Barrera got really slowed down the Mexicans and gave the Super Eagles better handling of the game. In all, it was a nice game and the Super Eagles need more work in the technical and strategy department.

Over all Rating: Super Eagles  5/10.
                            El Tri             6/10.
